NCDR is a flexible approach which can be tailored to the specific needs of each client. It is cost effective in comparison to costly court proceedings, and achieves a timely resolution as opposed to lengthy court proceedings.

Typically, we aim to arrange the preliminary meeting within 4-weeks of your initial contact with us.

Following the preliminary meeting, if we think we can help, we will provide a plan of work which will usually include 3-6 sessions. These can be both individual and joint sessions, and on occasion we may recommend including children in the process.

The cost will depend on whether Stephen Wildblood KC and Dr Freda Gardner are both involved, or not, and how many sessions are required. The hourly rate is between £200 and £400.

We are unable to provide a formal MIAM. However, we do provide preliminary meetings to discuss the process and your needs.

While tradition mediation is often not an option when there have been allegations of domestic abuse, our approach means that we can support couples where there have been allegations of domestic abuse. We will begin the process with an agreement with regards to conduct, and will manage risks accordingly.

We have a responsibility to safeguard children’s welfare and wellbeing. If any concerns about abuse, neglect, or harm are raised during the process, we will pause the process and refer the matter to the appropriate safeguarding authority.

No. We can offer both joint or separate sessions, depending on your circumstances. We can also offer online sessions, if this would facilitate joint sessions.

No. We can support with civil or commercial disputes.
We can also work with professionals and clients, such as local authority social workers and parents who are struggling to work together.

Mediation only works if both parties agree to engage in the process. Most people find the prospect quite challenging. We can offer individual sessions initially.

Most disputes are suitable for mediation. Following the preliminary meeting, we will discuss whether we are able to help you.

When it is not possible for you to travel to us, we can offer sessions remotely via MS teams. We are also prepared to travel and can arrange for sessions to take place in most locations in the country.

If appropriate, we can arrange to meet with any children concerned.
